WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's tennis team dropped its match against the Keiser Seahawks 7-0. The 'Fish earned a doubles victory from the tandem of
Svea Crohn and
Alessia Passerini. The pair made their first doubles appearance of the season and defeated KU's Isabella Perez Flores and Florencia Araya 7-6 (9-7.)
In doubles court two,
Elvira Edstrom and
Jelsyvette Croes were defeated 6-2.
Giovana Kelm and
Anabelle Robichaud dropped their match 6-1.
PBA got swept in singles play. Passerini took her match to three sets but fell 3-6, 6-3, 10-4. Crohn was defeated 6-0 in consecutive sets.
Alina Hoermann dropped her match 6-1, 6-2. In singles court three Edstrom lost 6-1, 6-3. Kelm dropped her match 6-2, 6-4. In singles court six
Frida Alsterhem was defeated 6-4, 6-0.
Next, PBA hosts SSC opponent Tampa on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center.
