MIAMI, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's golf team completed the final day of the Barry Women's Invitational, hosted by Barry University. The 'Fish placed 12
th out of 13 teams, with nine of those teams being from the Sunshine State Conference.
Mackenzie McCormack has continued to lead the way for the Sailfish this season, finishing in a tie for 28
th place with a tournament score of +15.
Jade Staudt was not that far behind McCormack, finishing in a tie for 30
th with an overall score of +16. Emilie Bjorge from the University of Tampa was the individual winner, finishing with a score of -1. Tampa would also claim the overall team victory with a team score of +22 and four of their golfers finishing in the top 20.
For PBA,
Emme Lantis tied for 65
th place, finishing +33 for the tournament.
Elena Denny finished in 70
th place and
Isabella Ugalde finished in 73
rd place, rounding out the final placements for the Sailfish.
PBA is now in the home stretch of their season, with one more tournament before competing in the Sunshine State Conference tournament. They tee off again on Apr. 4 for the Lynn Invitational.
