ORLANDO, Fla- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team picked up its third consecutive win 6-0 over Rockhurst. PBA (5-3) won its third game in five days.
In doubles competition,
Jorge Santamaria and
Juan Fernandez beat Andres Sahagun and Joe Harris 6-1. The PBA dou of
Rodolfo Hasegawa and
Blake Williams picked up their seventh win of season 6-3 against Santiago Rodriguez and Agustin Cortes. .
PBA swept singles competition taking five matches from the Hawks. Santamaria (6-2) defeated Louis Keiner 6-3, 3-6, 1-0. Santamaria pulled out the tiebreaker 10-7.
Luis Eduardo Platas earned his fifth win of the season over Cortez 6-3, 1-6, 1-0. Eduardo Platas took the tiebreaker 17-15.
Juan Fernandez beat Rodriguez 0-6, 6-3, 1-0. Fernandez won the tiebreaker 10-8. Hasegawa (5-1) knocked off Cris Cequea-Rivero 6-4, 6-4.
Blake Williams downed Sahagun 6-2, 6-1.
The Sailfish travel to St. Augustine to play No. 15 Flagler on Sunday Mar. 13.
