BOCA RATON, Fla- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team suffered a 6-1 road loss at No.3 Lynn on Monday. PBA (2-3) is 1-2 in conference play with both losses coming against teams ranked in the national top ten. 

The lone victory in singles competition for the' Fish came from Jorge Santamaria. Santamaria defeated No.43 Lucca Baptista in two sets. The Columbia native Santamaria took the first set 7-5 and pulled out the victory in the second set 6-2. Umberto Rosi dropped his match in two sets to Diego Gonzalez 6-3, 6-4. Roberto Binaghi fell to Ignacio Martinez 6-2, 6-1. Blake Williams fell 6-1 in consecutive sets to Gabriele Felline. Rodolfo Hasegawa lost to Gianmarco Amatiste 6-0, 7-5. Luis Eduardo Platas went to a tiebreaker against Lynn's Dan Kaplun. Platas took the first set 6-4. but dropped the second set 6-1 and the tiebreaker 10-8. 

In doubles competition, the Sailfish tandem of Hasegawa and Williams defeated Amatiste and Cabrera 6-2 for PBA's sole win in doubles play. Binaghi and Platas were beaten by Baptista and Gonzalez 6-3. Rosi and Santamara lost to Will Kirman and Martinez 6-4. 

Up next for the Sailfish, they play a series of nonconference games in Orlando Florida. The next game for the 'Fish will be against Augustana on Mar.8.
