DADE CITY, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's golf team finished up the final day of the Saint Leo Invitational, hosted by Saint Leo University. The tournament had nine total teams and 62 total golfers participating. The Sailfish finished in ninth place overall
Mackenzie McCormack was the highest finish for PBA in 37
th, finishing the second day +11 and ending the tournament with a score of +26.
Jade Staudt was right behind her in 38
th, ending the second day +13 with an overall tournament score of +27. Sophie Wheeler from Flagler College was the individual winner, finishing +5 in the final round. The University of Tampa took home the team victory with four golfers finishing in the top 10.
For the Sailfish,
Jewel Jorgensen finished in a five-way tie for 39
th place and shot +28 for the tournament.
Isabella Ugalde placed 60
th with a score of +54 and
Emme Lantis finished in 61
st place to round out the team finishers for PBA.
The Sailfish will play again on Oct. 25 in St. Augustine, Fla. for the Flagler Invitational.
