ORLANDO, Fla. - Palm Beach Atlantic women's golf finished play at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The Sailfish finished the three round tournament with a stroke total of 954 putting them three strokes ahead of fellow Sunshine State Conference member Eckerd for an 18th place finish. Dallas Baptist University finished in the top spot on the team leaderboard followed by Saint Leo in second and Florida Southern in third. 

Deanna Confessore had the top individual performance for the 'Fish finishing 18 over par in the three rounds to place tied for 65th. Confessore had a consistent tournament shooting in the 70s in all three rounds of play. Following right behind her for the 'Fish was Jade Staudt who shot 20 over par and finished tied for 72nd. Freshman Sommer Sachs participated in her first collegiate tournament finishing third for the 'Fish and tied for 80th overall. Sachs had the lowest single round score for PBA in the tournament shooting a 75 in the opening round. 

Jewel Jorgensen finished with a stroke total of 245 putting her tied for 102nd overall. Rounding out the scoring for PBA was Taylor Sukmana who shot an 84 in each round of the tournament which placed her tied for 110th. 

The Sailfish will take next week off and return to play on Mar. 24 and 25 as they compete in the Barry Invitational hosted by Barry University in Miami Shores.
