FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic softball team wrapped up its season series at Nova Southeastern with a doubleheader on Wednesday.
The Sailfish earned their first conference sweep of 2020 with two come-from-behind wins. PBA battled back from 2-0 and 3-2 deficits in game one, but the bats came alive late to win it, 7-3. The 'Fish trailed 3-1 through five innings in game two, but a four-run six inning resulted in a 5-3 win for PBA (11-5, 4-2 SSC). This the first Sailfish road sweep of NSU (8-8, 0-6 SSC) since 2016.
PBA will return home to face North Georgia in a Sunday doubleheader. First pitch at Simpson Field will take place at 12 p.m.
