WINTER PARK, Fla. – No. 23 Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis was defeated in their road finale of the regular season, falling to No. 16 Rollins, 5-2.
The Sailfish were able to pick up both of their wins at the bottom of the singles lineup. Rodolfo Hasegawa picked up with a decisive 6-2, 6-0 victory over Daniel Ferl at the No. 5 spot. Carlos Niemeyer earned a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Cody Gubin at No. 6. Umberto Rosi forced a third set at the No. 1 position but couldn't pull off the upset of No. 13 Nicolo De Fraia, losing 6-4, 4-6, 10-7.
In doubles play the Tars picked up the point with commanding victories at No. 1 and 3 and a close 6-4 victory at No. 2.
The 'Fish wrap up the regular season on Monday as they host Florida Tech at 4 p.m.
