MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic's women's golf finished up play at the Barry Invitational golf tournament on Tuesday afternoon in Miami Shores. The Sailfish finished 17th in the field that featured 15 DII nationally ranked opponents and Keiser who is ranked No. 1 in NAIA. The host team Barry University finished first overall as a team and also had the number one overall finisher in Josephina Foa Torres.
Jewel Jorgensen was the top finisher for the Sailfish as she shot six over which allowed her to finish tied for 27th in the tournament. Jorgensen shot a 68 on her second round on Monday which was tied for the lowest score of a round in the tournament. Taylor Sukmana was the next best 'Fish as she shot 12 over par and finished tied for 47th.
Deanna Confessore finished 70th with a score of +18 while Alex Dowd finished 80th shooting 25 over par. Rounding out the scoring for the Sailfish was NoraNoel Nolan who finished tied for 86th with a score of 32 over par.
The Sailfish will return to action in the Panther Invitational starting April 7-9 in Melbourne, Fla.
