WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic women's tennis suffered a 6-1 defeat at the hands of Sonoma State on Monday afternoon.
The Sailfish managed one win in doubles and earned their lone point with a win at No. 6 singles. Elvira Edstrom and Nicole Reich picked up the win in doubles, taking down Jenna DeTurk and Hannah Highsmith 6-4 at No. 3. Edstrom was victorious in singles as well, defeating Highsmight in three sets, 4-6, 6-3, 10-5.
PBA returns to action on Wednesday as they host Eckerd at 3 p.m.
