WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic men's soccer opened the season with a shutout victory over the University of North Georgia on Friday night, 4-0. The four goals by the 'Fish are the most since the Sailfish defeated Nova Southeastern by the same score line last October.

The 'Fish controlled play throughout the first half and finally broke through with a goal in the 40th minute as Guillermo Deal tallied his first off a feed from Timo Knull. Knull factored into two more goals during the match, scoring the team's third of the night in the 84th minute and assisting on Jack Burrows' first goal as a Sailfish with 20 seconds to play.

PBA took 25 shots to just 12 on the night for UNG. Elliott Barker wasn't tested often but made one save on the night. UNG's Matt Sharman was credited with three saves.

Cadu Cusatis was also able to get in on the scoring party for the 'Fish, scoring in the 61st minute from the left side as fellow newcomer Rafael Souza provided the assist.

The 'Fish will be back in action on Sunday as they take on Christian Brothers at 1 p.m. The Bucs lost to Lynn on Friday night by a 7-0 score.
