Box Score PENSACOLA, Fla. – Blake Israel lifted the Palm Beach Atlantic men's lacrosse team to their first NCAA victory on Saturday night, netting the game winner in overtime as PBA knocked off Montevallo 10-9.
Israel led the team with three goals on the night including the final goal. Zack Figura and Jordan Trowbridge added two goals each as six different players scored on the night. Trevor Keena, Scottie McLean and Trent Parker all scored their first goals of the season in the win as well.
The 'Fish took 24 shots on the night as the team played under control throughout the night on offense. Landon Johnson won 10-of-18 face offs while McLean led the way with five groundballs. Three players picked up an assist on the night as Ted Hollander, Brendan Fischer and Jesse Ball all earned their first assist of the season.
The Sailfish are back in action on Sunday at 11 a.m. as they close out the weekend against Alabama-Huntsville.
