WINTER PARK, Fla. – No. 17 ranked Palm Beach Atlantic volleyball swept Rollins College to open up the weekend, as the 'Fish won their 10th straight match and improve to 24-3 on the season. The 'Fish are now 13-3 in SSC play this year.
PBA struggled out of the gate on Friday, as Rollins led 22-18 late in the opening set. Sophie Hoekstra led the Sailfish in the first set with four kills.
The 'Fish found their rhythm offensively in the second set, as they hit .293 in the frame and cruised to a 25-16 set win. Hoekstra had another four kills in the set without an error as Ally Rohn and Sophia Rasmussen added three kills each for the Sailfish. Jennie Anderson had three kills and three blocks for the 'Fish in the set, as they limited Rollins to just .049 hitting.
The final set was close early as the teams were tied at 12. The 'Fish then went on a 13-2 run to close out the set and complete the road sweep of the Tars.
