MELBOURNE, Fla. – Hannah Grim poured in a game-high 23 points but it wasn't enough as the Sailfish came up just short on Saturday afternoon, falling to Florida Tech 54-53 in a Sunshine State Conference matchup.

The Sailfish trailed 32-25 after the opening 20 minutes but outscored FIT 11-4 in the first five minutes of the third quarter to even the score 36-36 on a layup by Grim.
Moments later a free throw by Tyler Davis gave PBA their only lead at 37-36 before FIT scored eight straight to retake control. In the fourth the Sailfish had a chance to take the lead inside the final minute but missed all four of their shots.
Grim finished 10-of-25 on the night and also pulled down eight rebounds, handed out two assists and picked up two steals. Ciara Cumbie added nine points and 11 rebounds for the 'Fish. She made three of her five field goal attempts including her only attempt from long range.
