Box Score CENTRAL, S.C.- Playing as the #1-seed at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) South Regional Tournament on Friday, the Palm Beach Atlantic University volleyball team had no problem taking down their first opponent as they posted a 3-0 win over North Greenville University to advance to the championship match on Saturday. PBA earned 25-15, 25-13, and 25-16 wins.
Sophomore Mariela Quesada led the team with 10 kills and 10 digs for a double-double performance while a whole host of other players contributed to the win.
Junior Jessie Kubiak tallied four service aces while Jessica Way managed 28 assists in the victory. Janeen McCormick and Lanae Robinson followed Quesdada in the kills department with seven and six respectively.
Palm Beach Atlantic (22-8) will now take part in the South Region championship match on Saturday versus Southern Wesleyan University, the host school and #2-seed.
