Tenecia Francis joined the PBA family as an athletic training intern in the fall of 2020 and was promoted to assistant athletic trainer in July of 2021. Francis was promoted in August of 2023, being named associate head athletic trainer.
Francis earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports & Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida, and then went on to earn a Masters Degree in Athletic Training from Florida International University.
Francis gained experience as an athletic training student at FIU and the Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute during 2017. Prior to joining the Sailfish, she was the head athletic trainer at FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers from 2018-2020.
