Kayla Fisher was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Student-Athlete Services in the Summer of 2024 after serving the athletic department as the Assistant to the Athletic Director since January of 2022.

Fisher will oversees student-athlete eligibility, and compliance education for PBA staff while serving on the athletic department’s senior leadership staff.

In addition to handling internal operations as Assistant to the Athletic Director, Fisher has represented PBA athletics on the national scale. She attended the NCAA Effective Facilitation Workshop in 2023. In April 2024, she was selected as an NCAA facilitator for the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum. Fisher was selected to attend the Women’s Leaders in College Sports Institute for Advancement conference in summer of 2023.

Before joining the PBA athletics staff in January 2022, she served the university as the Financial Aid Coordinator after she was promoted from Financial Aid Counselor.
 
Fisher is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic and a former Sailfish women’s soccer and track standout. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from PBA in 2018 and recently graduated with her master’s in business administration from PBA in December 2022.
 
On the pitch, Fisher played 57 games, starting 56 of them. She played over 1,000 minutes in each season as a Sailfish. In her final season, Fisher led the team in goals. On the track, she holds the sixth-fastest time in school history in the 400m race.
