Julia Costa joined the PBA volleyball program as an assistant coach in April of 2026.
Costa comes to PBA after playing five years at NCAA DIII Ithaca College in New York from 2020-2024. With the Bombers, she is a multi-time all-conference and all-region, and all-American honoree. She helped Ithaca win a pair of Liberty League championships. She totaled 1,461 digs, averaging 3.42 digs per set, along with 240 assists and 135 aces.
She graduated from Ithaca with a degree in Psychology and completed her master's degree from Ithaca in exercise and sport sciences, mental performance in December 2025. Since her playing days ended, Costa served as the head JV volleyball coach at Ithaca High School for the 2025 season. Most recently, she has been serving as the head coach of 14 Blue as a part of House of Sports.
