Jordan DeFilippo was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic and Recreational Facilities and Operations in Septemeber 2024. DeFilippo originally joined Palm Beach Atlantic University as the Director of Athletic Recreational Facilities and Operations in September of 2021. She is a member of the athletic department’s leadership team and serves as a sport administrator.
In her time at PBA, she has overseen gameday operations and athletic & recreational facilities, creating standards and guidelines for gameday procedures. She was facilitated and oversaw the delivery and execution of new gym equipment in the fitness center, located in the Greene Complex. She took the lead in PBA hosting the Super Region of the NCAA men's soccer tournament and NCAA DI Women’s Basketball multiple-team event, Coast-to-Coast. She helped handle the logistics of the NFL’s New England Patriots using the RAC for a week of practice in the Fall of 2022.

DeFilippo was awarded a Women's Leaders in College Sports Institute for Advancement scholarship in 2022, allowing her to attend the Women Leaders in Sports Institute for Advancement in Kansas City.

In the fall of 2023, DeFilippo served as a temporary sport administrator for the beach volleyball program while Lovely Evans was out on maternity leave. She has participated in several coaching searches, including volleyball, beach volleyball, and women’s soccer.
DeFilippo served as the Game Day Operations and Special Events Coordinator at Carson-Newman University for one year where she oversaw all game-day operations including staffing, set-up and breakdown, and coordinating with external operations and coaches. Prior to the operations role with the Eagles, DeFilippo served as the Fan Engagement Coordinator during the 2019-20 season. To go along with her promotions for football, soccer, basketball, and baseball, she oversaw the Eagle Club, game management, and Talon's Trot memberships.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee before completing her Masters in Business Administration from Carson-Newman in 2019.Â
While in school, DeFilippo was a student intern during the 2017-18 season with the Carson-Newman football program where she helped with strength and conditioning, sports performance, and recruiting. The following season, she served as a graduate assistant as Director of Sports Performance and Football Recruiting.Â
