Daniel joined the athletic communications staff at PBA in January of 2026 as an Athletic Communications Asisstant after graduating from PBA in December. A transfer from Liberty, Calvelli completed his bachelor's degree in Communication from PBA.

Dan currently serves as the primary contact for both lacrosse programs and beach volleyball while contributing creatively for most sports. 

Prior to his time with PBA, Calvelli spent time as a student photographer and social media manager at The King's Academy. In his time at school at Liberty, he produced photo and video content for both men's and women's lacrosse as well as independent content for an outlet covering Liberty football. 

Over the last two years, Calvelli has played a big role in creating content for the Sailfish' social media pages and website. Calvelli has done a lot of freelance work in the South Florida area. Including, shooting local high school football and lacrosse games. As well as shooting Inter Miami games, MLB spring training and Premier League Lacrosse.

Prior to graduation, he also was a part of the PBA student sports broadcasting program and provided play-by-play, camera, and director work to the broadcasts. Also, the last two summers and during school breaks, Calvelli gained experience as a creative intern with the Army West Point Athletic Association. Dan captured content for two Army-Navy games, Army football and men's basketball teams, and assisted with media days.
