Austen Goodgion joined the PBA volleyball coaching staff in May of 2026.



She came to PBA after graduating from Texas Tech with a bachelor's degree in sport management. She began her collegiate volleyball career at Lubbock Christian University before becoming a student assistant for the Red Raiders. With Texas Tech, she supported the coaching staff with daily operations and athlete support while also playing for the Texas Tech club volleyball team.

While working with the Red Raiders, Goodgion coached with Next Level Volleyball Club throughout her undergraduate career. She worked with athletes of all ages, focusing on skill development, confidence, competitiveness, and fostering a growth mindset on and off the court. 

Originally from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Goodgion attended Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Texas. As a varsity volleyball athlete for three years, she served as a co-captain and helped lead her team to a state championship. Additionally, she contributed to a state championship basketball program.
