Favorite team is the New York Yankees... Favorite athletes are Derek Jeter and Jennie Finch... Daughter of Nelson and Cynthia Santos... Has one sibling: Nelson Jr.

2012 (Junior)
Settled in as the team's starting second-baseman and middle-of-the-order bat... Started 45 games... Registered a team-best .366 batting average including 49 hits with eight doubles and two homeruns... Drove in 31 runs to finish second on the team while scoring 19 runs... Walked 10 times with only 11 strikeouts... Contributed 13 multi-hit games including three hits in a game on three different occasions... Drove in a season-best five runs on April 25th, 2012 versus Northwood University... Named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region second-team... Chosen to the Independent Collegiate Athletic Association (ICAA) second-team. 

PREVIOUS COLLEGES
Attended one year at Monroe Community College and one year at Northwood University (Fla.) where she competed in softball... Named to the All-Conference 1st-Team, All-Region 1st-Team, and All-American 1st-Team at MCC as a sophomore... Honored as All-Conference 1st-Team selection at NU.
