Palm Beach Atlantic University Athletics

Kurt Pessa begins his first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Palm Beach Atlantic men’s and women’s tennis teams.

A former professional player within the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) as a nationally-ranked doubles player, Pessa also participated as a collegiate baseball player at Rice University. He went undefeated in men’s league open play and earned the Orlando Men’s League Championship in 2011.

He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) at Palm Beach Atlantic.

Coinciding with his time in the professional ranks he also served as a volunteer assistant for the University of Central Florida from 2010-12.
