Palm Beach Atlantic University Athletics

Cody Ellmyer joined the Palm Beach Atlantic beach volleyball coaching staff in September of 2026.

In his coaching career, Cody has coached multiple national champions, current Division I starters, and countless college commits while working with the Sandstorm beach volleyball club as a coach/director of operations.

He specializes in technical skill development, helping athletes refine their mechanics, improve consistency, and build a strong foundation that translates directly into competition. His coaching focuses on breaking down the details of ball control, movement, and decision-making, allowing athletes to develop more efficient and effective play. By combining high-level playing experience with a structured, detail-oriented coaching approach, Cody helps athletes not only improve their performance, but compete with confidence at higher levels.

He is a current player competing professionally both domestically and internationally. Training with the USA National Team Development Program, he has honed his skills both as a player and coach.

Collegiately, Ellmyer attended and played men's beach volleyball at Webber International.
