Joining the Sailfish women's basketball coaching staff for the 2010-2011 season will be former Palm Beach Atlantic player, Kristine Webb.
A two-year starter after transferring from NCAA Division I Winthrop University, Webb served as the Sailfish starting center for two seasons while offering the team a consistent rebounder and defensive presence in the paint. Having led the team in blocks during both seasons, Webb also led the team in minutes played while serving as a team captain.
Webb was part of a resurgent Sailfish team in 2008-2009 as the team found its way to the NCCAA National Tournament after a thrilling NCCAA South Regional championship. The underdog Sailfish went on to find themselves in the NCCAA National Championship game where they would finish as the runner-up to the national championship.
Counted on for her leadership on and off the court during her playing days, Webb will assist head coach Clarisse Garcia in all facets of the program including recruiting, practice sessions, travel, and camps.
