PERSONAL
Born October 29, 1994... Majoring in Pharmacy... Aspires to become a Pharmacist... Chose PBA because she believed it to be the best place for her to attend and pursue the career she wanted. She loved the foundation of the school... Favorite verse is Philippians 4:13... Favorite team is the Miami Heat... Favorite athletes are Tim Tebow and Jessica Mendoza... Daughter of Rene and Ivette Gonzalez... Has two siblings: Rene and Gabriella. 

2016 (Junior)
Started in all 49 games on the year, Gonzalez finished second on the team batting .395 on the year picking up 58 hits, including three hits on two occasions, Feb 27 against Eckerd and April 16 at Saint Leo… Drove in a team-best 48 RBIs, including a season-high six against Tampa on April 1… Finished third on the team in runs scored with 26, scoring two runs five different times… Finished tied for the team lead in doubles with 10… Led the team in home runs with seven on the year, including a multi-homer game against Tampa on April 1 as she hit a two-run shot and a grand slam… Drew 25 walks on the campaign, and was walked three times at Florda Southern on March 26… Broke the PBA Career record in home runs with 22 on April 22 against Barry… Was named to the D2CCA All-South Region Second Team

2015 (Sophomore)
Increased her power while producing as one of the top hitters in the NCAA South Region as the team's designated player... Started all 55 games for the team at mostly the designated player position but also some spot starts in the outfield... Finished the season batting .309 (50-162) while managing eight doubles, one triple and a school-record 10 homeruns... Broke the school record for runs batted in with 53 while scoring 23 runs... Registered 17 walks while finishing 6-of-8 in stolen bases... Produced 13 multi-hit games including season-high of three hits in a game a total of three times... Drove home multiple runs a total of 13 times including a season-high of six RBI's on March 10th at Georgia Southwestern University... Hit homeruns in four consecutive games from February 7-11... Went 3-for-4 with five runs batted in with a double and homerun versus Lindenwood University on February 7th... Hit two homeruns and a double while going 3-for-4 with six RBI's versus Georgia Southwestern University on March 10th.

2014 (Freshman)
Put together a terrific freshman campaign as one of the top hitters in the South Region while serving as the team's regular designated player... Appeared in 44 of the team's 46 games while making 41 starts and registering 131 total at-bats... Concluded the season one point away from tying the school record for batting average in a season with a .427 clip while producing 56 total hits to finish second on the team... Collected 14 doubles, two triples and five homeruns with her doubles and homerun totals both good for second on the squad... Led the team with 35 runs batted in as well as a .679 slugging percentage and a .493 on-base percentage... Added in 22 runs scored and 89 total bases while finishing 3-for-4 in stolen bases... Registered 14 multi-hit games including five three-hit games and a season-high four hits in a 4-for-6 showing including a homerun at Lynn University on April 9th... Drove in at least two runs in a game a total of 11 times with a season-high of three RBI's three different times... Produced her first collegiate hit in her first game with a 1-for-3 performance versus Florida Southern College on February 7th... Cracked her first collegiate homerun on March 8th versus Armstrong Atlantic State University... Chosen to the Independent Collegiate Athletic Association (ICAA) All-ICAA team... Named the ICAA Freshman of the Year... Named to the Daktronics All-Region second-team... Selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region first-team. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Pembroke Pines Charter High School where she competed for head coach Tom Fadul... Competed as a varsity softball starter since the sixth grade... Named to the Sun-Sentinel second-team and the Miami Herald All-County first-team as a sophomore... Chosen as the Miami Herald Player of the Year, Miami Herald All-County first-team and the Sun-Sentinel first-team as a junior... Selected as a Max Prep Junior All-American... Chosen to the All-State first-team as a junior... Helped lead her team to the State Championship while hitting a homerun in her team's 1-0 win... Chosen to the Sun-Sentinel first-team and Miami Herald All-County first-team as a senior... Earned the Jaguar Award (MVP) for her team... Chosen to the All-State first-team as a senior... Finished third in the 6A Florida Dairy Farmers Player of the Year Award... Broke school records for homeruns (12), tied for most homeruns in a game (3) and most triples in a season.
