Born September 30, 1993... Majoring in Athletic Training with a minor in Education... Aspires to become an Athletic Trainer... Chose PBA because of the Christian atmosphere, the closeness to home, the beautiful campus and the location... Favorite verses are Psalms 34:19 and Philippians 4:13... Favorite teams are the Boston Redsox and the Chicago Bandits... Favorite athletes are Jason Varitek and Jennie Finch... Daughter of James and Karen Murphy... Has one sibling: Makayla. 

2014 (Sophomore)
Spent her first season with the team as a reserve pitcher who was utilized mostly as a reliever... Made 19 appearances including five starts in the circle while totaling 48.1 innings of work... Finished the season 5-5 with one complete game and a 3.33 earned-run average... Struck out 26 batters with 15 walks while limiting opposing hitters to a .314 batting average... Tossed at least five innings a total of four times throughout the season including a season-high 5.2 innings of work versus St. Thomas University on March 21st... Struck out a season-high five batters versus Goldey-Beacom College on February 23rd... Earned her first win with 1.1 innings of work versus Flagler College on February 23rd.

Spent one season at Daytona State College as a member of the softball team. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended The King's Academy where she competed as a member of the girl's softball team... Chosen as the NCSAA Women's Softball National Player of the Year in 2012... Selected as the Palm Beach Post Player of the Year in 2012... Selected to the FHSAA All-State first-team in 2012... Chosen to the Sun-Sentinel All-Area first-team in 2012... Honored by the Palm Beach Post as an All-Area first-team selection in 2009, 2011 and 2012... Selected to the Sun-Sentinel All-Area first-team in 2009, 2011 and 2012... Chosen as NCSAA All-American first-team in 2011... Named a Team Captain and Team MVP in 2011 and 2012... ESPN Radio High School Athlete of the Month in April 2011... Member of the Key Club... Earned the Community Service Silver Award.
