Born April 4, 1989... Majoring in Secondary Education, concentration in Mathematics... Daughter of Dan and Cindy Shipman... Has one brother, Aaron, and one sister, Ashley.

2009 (Sophomore)
Played in a career-high 53 games as both a third-baseman and designated player... Started 51 times while batting .167 in 126 at-bats while registering three doubles and ten runs driven in on the season... Led the team with 22 walks while also tying for the team-lead in hit by pitches with three.

2008 (Freshman)
Appeared in 28 games as a true freshman, starting 27 games as a versatile player as either a catcher or third-baseman... Produced a .225 batting average in 71 at-bats with 16 hits while scoring 10 runs... Added in four doubles and eight runs batted in while drawing 10 walks (3rd on the team) and being hit by a pitch seven times to lead the squad.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played high school softball for head coach Chuck Youtz at Fredom High School... A four year starter, Shipman was named Team Defensive Player of the Year her sophomore season, Team Offensive Player of the Year her junior season, and Team MVP after her senior season... Named All-Metro after all four seasons of high school softball... Awarded a spot on the All-District 1st-Team after her senior season while also being named to the All-Central Florida 2nd-Team... Named All-State honorable mention after her senior campaign... Awarded with the Junior Class Principal's Award.
