Played in 19 matches on the season while starting 17 … scored one goal on the season, coming in the closing minutes against Nova Southeastern in the SSC Tournament … anchored a Sailfish defense that was once again among the national leaders in goals against average and posted 10 shutouts on the season … was named SSC Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive year … named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team … D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches All-South Region First Team Selection … D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches First-Team All-American Selection … named Most Outstanding Player of SSC Tournament.

2017 (Junior)
Juan came in and brought immediate experience and talent to the defense as he played in all 18 games including 17 starts on the year … able to rack up 1500 minutes on the year … picked up his lone goal of the year against Florida Tech on October 27 in a 1-0 Sailfish win … All-SSC First-Team selection … SSC Defensive Player of the Year … named to United Soccer Coaches as well as D2CCA All-Region First Team … United Soccer Coaches Third-Team All-American … D2CCA Third-Team All-American.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Played at Pfeiffer University before joining the Sailfish, and won a National Championship in 2015 with Pfeiffer.

2016 (Sophomore)
Played in and started all 22 games for the Falcons ... scored three goals and added an assist for a total of seven points ... scored three game-winning goals on the season.

2015 (Freshman) 
Played in all 25 games, starting 24 times . . . helped anchor a defensive unit that allowed only 17 goals in 25 games . . . added three goals and four assists . . . had the assist on a game-winning goal in Pfeiffer's 4-3 overtime victory over Flagler on Sept. 7 . . . had goals against Emmanuel, Southern Wesleyan and Limestone.
