9/24/2026 11:46:00 AM

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's basketball team released their schedule for the year on Thursday. Head coach Grahm Smith, along with the new assistance of Gage Ash, look to improve upon last season's 12-17 (8-12) record. The Sailfish season ended with a loss to Nova Southeastern in the SSC Conference Tournament.

Two of last season's starters will return, Breeje Schuler and Anaya Smith. Schuler has one of the highest field goal and three-point percentages on the team, while also leading the team with 165 rebounds. Anaya Smith led the team with 29 blocks.

The Sailfish open their season in the newly renovated Rubin Arena hosting the University of Ft. Lauderdale. They follow this up with a road trip to Georgia to face Fort Valley State and Valdosta State. Early SSC action has the 'Fish on the road taking on Lynn and Tampa. New College of Florida is the last non-tournament and non-SCC opponent the Sailfish will see.

The Sailfish will spend the holidays on the road with a Thanksgiving tournament at Nova Southeastern where the 'Fish will see Sul Ross State and The University of Alabama Huntsville. Christmas will be spent at Lynn taking on Daemen and Middle Georgia State. Early December entails home matches against Embry Riddle and Barry, split by a trip south to Nova Southeastern.

The new year will bring non-stop conference opponents. The Sailfish will start 2027 hosting Florida Southern. Home opponents in January include Saint Leo, Florida Tech, Lynn and Tampa. The 'Fish will host Nova Southeastern and Rollins in February before closing out their season with Eckerd.

Throughout the season, the Sailfish will face five NCAA Tournament teams: The University of Alabama-Huntsville, Eckerd, Nova Southeastern, Embry-Riddle, and Florida Southern.
