WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic men's cross country team was selected to finish fourth in the Sunshine State Conference preseason coaches' poll, the league announced Wednesday.
 
The Sailfish enter the 2026 season looking to build on a strong 2025 campaign where it finished a program-best third at the SSC Championships, and continue their standing among the top teams in the conference.
 
PBA looks to a mix of experienced runners and newcomers as it begins the new season under new head coach Chris Lessard. PBA's roster includes key returners, Hayden Tank, Charlie Roberts, and Aedan Lydon.

Florida Southern was picked to win the league with nine first-place votes. Embry-Riddle was second in the poll with one first-place vote. Tampa was picked third, with Nova Southeastern and Florida Tech tying for fifth place.
 
The Sailfish are scheduled to open the 2026 season at the Keiser Flagship Invitational on Sept. 4 in Boca Raton, Fla.
