BOCA RATON, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's basketball team clawed their way to a nail-biting 70-67 triumph over Lynn University after an intense overtime at the de Hoernle Sports & Cultural Center. The 'Fish pounced on Lynn's 19 turnovers, converting them into 23 crucial points.
Anabel Ellison was a force, netting a career high 27 points, including five 3-pointers on eight attempts, and snagging seven rebounds.
Breeje Schuler was a defensive powerhouse, racking up 11 rebounds, four steals, and two blocks. Hadley chipped in 12 points and two steals, showcasing her defensive prowess.
Anaya Smith was relentless on the boards, pulling down eight rebounds and dishing out four assists.
The 'Fish started strong, matching Lynn's seven field goals in the first quarter with three successful 3-pointers.
Darria Whitley sank a pivotal 3-pointer with just 59 seconds to go in the first frame, momentarily putting PBA ahead 17-16. But Lynn's Trinity Mocadlo answered with her own, and the Sailfish fell behind 19-17 at the end of the quarter.

In the fourth quarter, the Sailfish found themselves down seven and mounted a comeback with some clutch clutch 3-pointers. Hadley's 3-pointer at 9:11 narrowed the gap to four points. Schuler's layup and another Hadley 3-pointer further closed the deficit. Ellison's fast-break 3-pointer at 6:28 gave the 'Fish a hard-fought lead, which they maintained despite the pressure.
Ellison tied the game at 59 with a pivotal 3-pointer at 0:37, capping a defensive showcase with six steals in the quarter. Smith's late steal kept the score locked, and the game headed into overtime tied at 59.
