WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's tennis team took down Tampa on Saturday afternoon to snap a three-game losing streak. The Sailfish took the close win by a score of 4-3.  

The Sailfish took the first doubles matchup with Frida Alsterhem and Elsa Brenner winning 6-3 in the third position. Simona Hantzis Karlsson and Cecilia Peroni took the first position matchup 7-6. With a score of 7-6 score to complete the doubles sweep, Virginia Borja and Anarella Brito took the second position matchup. 

Frida Alsterhem made quick work of her sixth position opponent winning 6-2, 6-1. The next matchup to finish was Cecilia Peroni winning in the fourth position by a score of 6-1, 6-2. Elsa Brenner clinched the matchup by a score of 6-1, 6-3 in the third position to put the Sailfish up 4-0. Valeria Lopez dropped her fifth position matchup by a tight score of 6-3, 2-6, 0-1 (10-12). Simona Hantzis Karlsson pushed her opponent to a long tiebreaker but lost 7-5, 1-6, 0-1(7-10). In the final matchup to finish, Virginia Borja also pushed her match to a tiebreaker but ultimately fell 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-6).  

The Sailfish return to the court on Monday when they take on Lynn at home.
