WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's lacrosse team concluded the 2025 season with one final home match against No. 1 Tampa. The Sailfish put up a fight but fell short 23-9 PBA concluded the 2025 season with a 6-10 overall record.
In the first quarter of play, the Spartans were aggressive from the jump. An early offensive run saw Tampa go up 4-0 before the Sailfish had an offensive opportunity. A missed shot from the Spartans saw PBA clear up field and

Hunter Levinson for the first goal of the day (4-1). The Spartans were able to tack on two more goals, but in the final two minutes of play Delate and
Olivia Larges both netted a goal apiece. PBA continued to fire on all cylinders, seeing Delate serve it to Larges, cutting the deficit to 6-4. Tampa worked quickly to net a pair of goals, seeing PBA enter the second quarter trailing 8-4.
Tampa continued their offensive resilience, notching four goals over the course of four minutes to start the second quarter. With a 12-4 lead over the 'Fish, Delate served the ball to
Annika Limpert to cut the deficit to 12-5. Delate netted her second goal of the match in the seventh minute of play off the assist from Levinson. Tampa was seen netting two more goals, leaving PBA trailing 15-6 entering the half.
The third quarter saw Tampa outshooting the Sailfish nine to two and netting five goals. The Sailfish's lone goal of the quarter came from Levinson, assisted by Larges, in the in the fifth minute of play. PBA trailed 20-7 entering the final quarter of play. In the fourth quarter, PBA's Delate was seen netting one goal while Thompson netted a goal on a free position attempt. Ultimately, it was not enough as the Sailfish fell to the Spartans, 23-9.
