The home team took the lead in the first half and added another goal in the second half, while maintaining a clean sheet with their goalkeeper making two key saves. This win marked the Sailfish's second consecutive shutout. The Sailfish outshot Florida Tech 13-12 and capitalized on their scoring opportunities to clinch the win.

The first half opened with the 'Fish creating multiple scoring opportunities, highlighted by a series of corner kicks and shots early on. Despite missing some chances, the 'Fish maintained pressure, leading to a pivotal moment in the 36th minute when Juan Hermoso converted a goal with an assist from Paul Danner, giving the home team a 1-0 lead.
