Lakeland, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's basketball team suffered an 86-65 defeat at the hands of the Florida Southern Mocs on Saturday evening.  

Kash Ayuso led the way for the 'Fish in scoring with 23 points. Karyzma Pierre and Anabel Ellison were 2nd on the team, each finishing with 12 points.  

The Sailfish started off hot and were up 5-0 early in the game. With both teams shooting under 30% from the field, the first frame ended tied at 14.  

Florida Southern started to pull away in the 2nd quarter. Outscoring the Sailfish 26-17 in the second ten-minute period, the Sailfish found themselves down 11 at the halftime break.  

In the third quarter, the Mocs built on their lead. Outscoring the Sailfish by a score of 26-17, the deficit was too much for PBA to overcome. Lily Randgaard led FSC with 21 points. Sydney Gomes and Catlina Ion were right behind her with 19 and 18 points respectively.  

The Sailfish return to action on Friday at Noon against Georgian Court in the NSU Thanksgiving Classic.
