WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's soccer team draw against Lynn University on Saturday night. The Sailfish (1-2-2) score in the final ten minutes to tie against the Knights (3-2-1).
It was an offensive focused first half with both teams combining for a total of three goals. The first goal of the game came from the Knights #23 Kayleigh Merchant in the first five minutes of action. The Knights then scored again just a few minutes later thanks to #14 Leyla Molina.
The Sailfish managed to get on the board before the end of the first half when
Sydney Timmes crept through the defense to score for PBA.
The 'Fish established themselves on offense in the second half by taking a total of ten shots. It seemed there was no hope for PBA to score until
Michelle O'Driscoll scored a goal to tie the game in the final ten minutes of play.
The Sailfish travel to Barry University Tuesday, Sept. 19 where they will face against the Buccaneers for the second time this season. They will kick off at 7 p.m.
