WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic women's soccer alum Kelly Giddes has continued to make an impact at the professional level.
 
Giddes is a new member of Mitchelton FC in the National Women's Premier League Queensland in Australia. The league is considered the top women's league in Queensland. She signed with the club in April and has already been a big contributor to the squad. 
 
The former Sailfish was named to the NPL's Team of the Week for her performance in Mitchelton's 3-0 win over Brisbane's Olympic FC. Giddes found the back of the net for the first goal of the match in the 56^th minute. 
 
She has made four appearances for the club so far. Mitchelton currently sits at fifth place in the league with five wins so far in the season.
 
This is Giddes' third club since graduating from PBA after the 2021 season. She started her post-college career with Tormenta FC before signing with KFF Vllaznia in Romania. In Romania, her club earned a spot in the women's Champions League.
