St. Augustine, Fla. - The Palm Beach Atlantic women's tennis team fell to No. 12 Flagler 4-0 on the road.
The Sailfish dropped all three matches in doubles play. On doubles court one, the PBA pair of
Cecilia Peroni and
Greta Langiu were defeated 6-1.
Anabelle Robichaud and
Giovana Kelm fell 6-2. On doubles court two, the tandem of
Elvira Edstrom and
Frida Alsterhem took their doubles match to a tiebreaker but were defeated 7-6 (7-5.)
As for singles play, three matches went unfinished due to rain delays as both teams played to clinch. On singles court one,
Alina Hoermann fell 6-1, 6-1. Langiu was defeated 6-0, 6-0. On singles court six, Robichaud dropped her match 6-0, 6-0.
Next, the Sailfish travel to Lakeland for a conference match at Florida Southern on Saturday, Mar. 25.
