WEST PALM BEACH, FLA.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's soccer team tied against the University of Tampa on Wednesday night. The Sailfish (1-5-3) and Spartans (4-2-4) ended in a draw for the second time in a row since playing in fall of 2022.

It was a quiet first half with not many shots taken and a lot of back and forth soccer for the Sailfish and Spartans. Both teams only took a total of three shots in the first half of play. 

The second half was scoreless as well, but had some excitement. #88 Leah Cook had two great chances late in the game to put the Sailfish on the scoreboard for the first time in three games but just could not find the inside of the net. The Spartans came out very aggressive in the second half taking a total of 10 shots but #99 Taylor Jackson held down the fort the whole game with seven saves for the game.

PBA travels to Lakeland, Fla. Saturday Oct, 14. to play against Florida Southern. It will be their first time matching up against each other this season.
