FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic softball team finished its series against Nova Southeastern on Friday with a day doubleheader.
The start time of the doubleheader was moved up to noon to avoid impending rain; however, game one experienced a weather delay and didn't start until 2:30 p.m. PBA's offensive woes continued, as the Sailfish had bad luck at the dish. PBA put the bat to the ball, but the Sharks countered with clean defense. The Sharks won the first game, 2-0, followed by a 3-0 win in game two to complete the sweep of the Sailfish.
PBA has two weeks off before playing its final series of the season. The Sailfish begin a series against Saint Leo on April 29. The first pitch in Saint Leo, Fla. takes place at 7 p.m.
