WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic women's lacrosse fell to No. 5 Rollins College 22-2 on Saturday.
The Sailfish got on the board just before halftime as Kiki Cinotti found the back of the net. In the second half it was Anna Laskaris who was able to score off the feed from Cinotti. Cinotti has now recorded 55 points in her freshman season, leading PBA in both assists and points.
PBA managed just 12 shots in the game as the Rollins defense stifled the 'Fish all game long. The Tars were able to take 42 shots. Abigal Nehring made 14 saves in goal for the Sailfish and led the team with three ground balls.
Rollins was led by both Kallie German and Hannah Ashton who scored four goals each. Kaitlin Young added three while German finished the game with seven points to lead all players.
The Sailfish are back in action on Wednesday as they make the trip to Daytona Beach to take on Embry-Riddle at 7 p.m.
