MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic women's tennis dropped a road Sunshine State Conference match on Thursday, falling 9-0 to the No. 1 ranked Bucs from Barry University.
Laura Andersen and Taylor Conti had the best showing in doubles as the duo were able to take four games from Julie Razafindranaly and Hannah Seizer at No. 2. Playing at No. 1 singles Bella Mermersky had the closest set for the Sailfish. After dropping the opener 6-1 to Seizer, Mermersky kept things close in the second but ultimately lost, 6-4.
The Sailfish are back in action on Saturday as they take on Saint Leo on the road at 2 p.m. PBA has rescheduled their match with Embry-Riddle for Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center.
