WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's basketball team's Kash Ayuso had her historic weekend capped off by earning Player of the Week honors from the Sunshine State Conference.

Ayuso took home her fourth career SSC Player of the Week honor after becoming PBA women's basketball's all-time leading scorer over the weekend. The West Palm Beach native ended Friday's game two points shy of the record after a 36-point, 11-rebound, and six-steal performance in a win over Georgian Court. Ayuso eclipsed Hannah Grim's (2015-18) record on Saturday, scoring 28 points with seven rebounds and two steals while leading the Sailfish to another win.

Her 36 points against Georgian Court were just six shy of her program single-game record of 42. Ayuso currently has 1,246 career points.

PBA women's basketball is back in action on Wednesday against Barry. The contest in Rubin Arena is set for 5:30 p.m.
