Grow - Matthew 22:36-40

  • It’s important to have a process but even more important are the relationships on your team that drive the process.
  • Growing relationships is the most important measure that will drive our process. We want to encourage you to grow or build relationships within your faith, family, team, friends, faculty and staff! When your career is finished, it’s our hope that you look back on great lifelong relationships you developed and realize how vital they are to team basketball and more importantly to living an impactful life.

Grind - Deuteronomy 8

  • You can’t cheat the grind, it knows how much you have invested… it won’t give you anything you haven’t worked for!
  • Grinding is tough, but necessary to reach many goals we will have both individually and collectively. Tough times are to be expected...difficult classes/teachers, tough practices/games, etc. Learning how to grind through temporary failure to achieve success is a skill that must be learned through repetition and perseverance. The grind often leads to humbling experiences that serve as tests of our character and reveal the true condition of our hearts.
