WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Continuing to try and improve the Sailfish men’s basketball program each year, Palm Beach Atlantic University head coach Terry Primm has announced three additions to his roster with each scheduled to enroll in school and join the team in the fall. All three student-athletes are transfers with each having played at varying levels. All three are expected to contribute to the success of the Sailfish program next season.

ANAHEIM, Calif.- Once again welcomed back for the festivities surrounding the Major League Baseball All-Star game, Palm Beach Atlantic University head baseball coach and MLB  Hall-of-Famer Gary Carter will suit up tonight on ESPN at 10 p.m. eastern as a part of the National League team with other baseball legends and celebrity participants in the annual All-Star softball game at this year’s All-Star site, Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Left with the responsibility of replacing five seniors from her 2010 squad, Palm Beach Atlantic University head softball coach Kimmy Bloemers continues to stockpile talented players with the addition of four more potential standouts during the spring signing period. The four players will report to PBA in the fall as Lauren Bubeck and Brittany Jones have previously both played at nearby Palm Beach State College while Kimberly Traxler will transfer from St. Johns River Community College. Kayla Lanktree will suit up for the Fish after attending Holy Trinity High School.

SKILLMAN, N.J.- After a solid end to the 2010 tennis campaign for the Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s tennis team, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has released their final rankings of the year. The listing ranks the top teams, singles, and doubles participants at each level of collegiate competition. Sailfish sophomore Krasimir Atanasov closes out the 2010 season ranked #21 in singles in the NCAA Division II rankings, the highest finish ever for a PBA tennis player.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- After receiving the honor of being the program’s first Daktronics All-Region selection a few weeks ago, Palm Beach Atlantic University softball pitcher Ashley Jones has now been honored as a Daktronics All-American Honorable Mention selection. The senior from Jensen Beach, Florida has closed out her collegiate softball career as arguably the most decorated player ever to come through the program.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic University women's basketball program will be hosting two different sessions of summer camp in early August under new head coach Clarisse Garcia. Two camp sessions will be offered for ages ranging from 6-17 with an individual camp on August 9-11 and a team camp taking place on August 12th, 2010.

STARKVILLE, Miss.- After reaching the final game of the sub-region NCAA South Regional tournament last month against eventual National Champion runner-up Valdosta State, the Palm Beach Atlantic University softball team completed the finest season in its 11th year of competition. With the NCAA Division II champion crowned last week, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their final top-25 poll of the 2010 season on Thursday.
