Evan started all 50 games of the 2017 season for the Sailfish, manning center field and the leadoff spot in all of them … finished the season with a .295 batting average, and a .349 on-base percentage … finished a perfect 20-for-20 in stolen bases … had 17 multi-hit games on the season, including a four-hit performance in a Sailfish victory over Nova Southeastern on April 8 … hit two home runs on the season, and added 12 doubles and four triples … went 3-for-6 and scored four runs in a victory over Lynn University on March 11.

Spent his freshman and sophomore seasons as the starting centerfielder at Duke, playing in 51 games as a freshman and 54 games in 2016 as a sophomore ... batted .186 as a freshman with six doubles on the season ... saw a power increase sophomore year as he batted .226 with two triples and three homeruns ... belted three homeruns in a game against Ohio State University on Feb. 26, 2016 ... Was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Graduated from Bishop Verot where he competed for coach David Nelson...Was named to Max-Preps Second Team All-America...Was also a member of the National Honor Society.
