Eli spent his first season with the Sailfish as a bullpen pitcher, seeing his role expand as the season progressed … finished the season with five consecutive scoreless appearances … went a season high two innings against nationally ranked Nova Southeastern on April 8, allowing no runs and striking out a pair of hitters … threw a scoreless inning against the University of Tampa on April 29.

Played for Dwyer High School where he was regional runner-up his senior season...Pitched for head coach Frank Torre...Graduated with Honors.
