2017 (Sophomore)
Sam battled injuries during his second season with the Sailfish, making 11 appearances on the mound … posted a 4.40 ERA, striking out 13 batters in 14.1 innings pitched … threw 1.2 scoreless innings against Flagler College on March 17.

2016 (Freshman)
Worked his way into the weekend rotation by the end of the season…tossed 24.1 innings overall with 19 punch outs…pitched a season-high 6.1 innings against Eckerd (4/16) allowing just two hits and two runs with two strikeouts…struck out a season-high four on two occasions, against Barry (3/25) and at Florida Southern (4/3).

Attended Palm Beach State University.

Graduated from Father Lopez High School where he pitched for head coach Trevor Berryhill... Named to 3A All-State, All-Region and All-District teams in 2013 while also being named school's pitcher of the year... led the school to the 3A regional finals as well... Perfect Game 2013 Florida Region Honorable Mention...2012 Underclass Honorable Mention... spent two years at IMG Academy for coaches Jason Elias and David Shepard... also spent time with All American Prospects organization, playing for coach Dave Parra for three years.
