Ben was one of three Sailfish golfers to play in all 11 events on the season … finished with a 76.50 scoring average, and shot a low round of 70 twice, including at the Sunshine State Conference Men’s Golf Championship on April 22-25 … finished in 25th at the SSC Championship at six-over par which led the team … became the first 4-year graduating senior for the Sailfish who brought golf back as a sport in 2013.
Played in all 10 events on the season, and has played in 26 career events…second on the team in scoring average at 74.77…shot a low round of 68 on Feb. 15 at the Spring Kickoff Classic…finished in a tie for sixth at the Golf Classic Invitational on Feb 28-Mar.1…shot a final-round 69 at the McDonough Cup on October 27 in Orlando, Fla… won PBA male student-athlete of the month for October 2015
Played in eight events on the season as the team’s number two player…finished with a scoring average of 77.22…shot his lowest round of the season of 72 on Sep. 22 at the Webber International Invitational on his way to a T21 overall finish…shot two rounds in the 70s at the Warner University Beyond the Roar Tournament and finished in a tie for 10th position on the leaderboard
As a freshman, Murray played in all eight events and finished with a scoring average of 78.29 which was second best on the team…shot a season best 72 on Nov.2 at the Beyond the Drive Tournament…shot 15 round in the 70’s, and had four top-30 finishes, all in the last five tournaments of the season
Attended Calvary Christian High School where he competed on the golf team for coach Jim Fuller... Selected as a three-time FHSAA State finals contender... Made the Tampa Bay Times All-County Golf team... Graduated with a 4.0 grade-point average and received the Top Scholar Award.
